It is, in fact, the main reason we should be moving away from big-tech social media: it shows more right-wing content than left-wing content, no matter the political leaning of the user. Propaganda works. See more of something and you start believing it. Au passage, sachez que le #X d'aujourd'hui n'a rien avoir avec le #Twitter d'hier. Le remplacement des utilisateurs par des comptes de droite, mais surtout d'extrême droite est en cours. Au #UK, où le phénomène est très marqué, #Musk s'en sert pour des appels à la violence lors des manifestations.

De manière générale, le diagnostique de l'incompatibilité entre les réseaux sociaux de la Big Tech telle que #X et la démocratie a été posé depuis au moins 2022. Voir notamment mon analyse dans #ToxicData. ça serait bête d'attendre la fin de la démocratie pour en tirer des conclusions #X or not #X?

まだ #Twitter が #X になる前、イーロン・マスクが買収とほぼ同時に :suspiciousFry: < ここ #VivaldiSocial :vivaldi_blue: を含めた #Mastodon :mastodon: のサーバーのドメインを「有害サイト」として投稿できなくしたり :suspiciousFry: < :mastodon: とか代替 SNS を匂わすアカウントをいきなり凍結したり（自分は当時それは免れたけど周りに何人かそういう人がいて自分も覚悟してはいた） :suspiciousFry: < サードパーティー開発者を API からいきなり BAN などなど、"やりはじめた" 3年くらい？前から自分は「こりゃあかんな」と思って、同時期に立ち上げられたここ #VivaldiSocial :vivaldi_blue: に軸足を移した（その後 #X に命名変更される直前にアカウント消した）わけだけど、 今となっては当時の Twitter でフォローさせてもらってたのと同じくらいのアカウントをここからフォローしてて、仕組み上グローバルな串刺し検索ができない #Fediverse :fediverse: でも、自分がウォッチしたい情報は自然と（文字通り人づてに）流れてくるようになったし、 Threads の :fediverse: 対応（ちょっと中途半端なままではあるにせよ）とか、Bluesky からブリッジを通して :fediverse: に流れてくる投稿とか、#ActivityPub :activitypub: の恩恵で適度に外部の情報も自分のタイムラインに流せるようになってきて、Twitter 時代に自分が意識的にフォローしてた人々の投稿も徐々にここから見えるようになってきたし、 さらに :mastodon: はクライアントもたくさん選択肢があって楽しい（ #PhanpySocial は既存のソーシャルメディアの UI のなかでもトップレベルに気に入っている）し、 つまり、いまから "移住先" を探すみなさんにも伝わったらいいなあと思うことは（決してマウントを取りたいわけではなく、シンプルに「オススメしたい」という気持ちで） :apartyblobcat: < #Mastodon :mastodon: でも #Misskey :misskey: でもそれ以外のなにか（技術があるならお一人様サーバーとか）でもいいから #Fediverse :fediverse: なアカウントを持っておいたらいいと思う👍 :apartyblobcat: < 時系列タイムラインでもリストとかちゃんと活用すれば、十分タイムラインは追っていける👍 :apartyblobcat: <（インフルエンサーが攻略するべき対象としての）アルゴリズムとか、その指標としてのインプレッションみたいな力学が働いていない場所は、やっぱ比較的平和っすよ👍（加えてブロックとかミュートもちゃんとできるし🛡️ ってことかなあ :tony_wee:

Ja, @lijepasam@social.vivaldi.net - diese Erfahrungen kann ich nachvollziehen. Ich erlebe #Mastodon zwar schon als viel besser als #X - aber ein paar Mal habe ich auch schon ans Gehen gedacht. Denn dass Arroganz und Intoleranz, Freund - Feind - Dualismus inklusive Antisemitismus & Sexismus in rechten Medienblasen algorithmisch verstärkt werden, bedeutet selbstverständlich umgekehrt nicht, dass es solche Haltungen nicht auch in linken Blasen gibt. Bin manchmal auch entsetzt zu sehen, wie abwertend sich hier auch einige Linke gegenseitig ankoffern. Da gelten dann auch schon Sozialdemokratinnen als „rechts“. Wir sind nun mal Menschen & die wenigsten gelangen bis zum dialogischen Monismus. Aber diesen wenigen dürfen wir ja unsere Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit schenken & damit den so wichtigen Dialog auch stärken. Erlebe ich.
