#introduction I’m a #polymath who gets her kicks learning and doing new things. I started in corporate finance, then went freelance as a #writer, #author of #tech #books, articles, and #video training material. Along the way, I learned to fly #helicopters. I launched my own helicopter charter business and a popular #YouTube channel of #flying videos. Now I’m mostly #retired, a #jewelry #artist and #boat #captain, #RVing and #boating with my pups when I’m away from home.

The actual ‘video ID’ is the random string after: youtube.com/watch?v= If there is a “&” or “?” with another random string that is the tracker You can delete everything after the after the first random string starting with the “&” Or don’t use #YouTube!

Maybe my attention span has been degraded like everyone else’s but I tend to skip the entire intro of all YouTube videos, including the recap at the top as well as the logo splash and intro statement. I know what it is. I know who’s on. I know what it’s about. That’s why I’m watching. What is this the 1970s, with a 90 second intro trailer, that tells the entire origin story? #YouTube #Video

Welp. I think I got rate-limited by #YouTube. Every time I attempt to open a video now it wants me to sign in to prove I’m not a bot. (Which is pretty fucking hilarious coming from an outfit that’s used its bots to Hoover up the entirety of the internet). I was messing around with synchronizing YT channels to my #Peertube instance and must have tripped something. Now I can’t open YT videos on their site, Peertube or #Invidious. Maybe it will reset at some point? 🤦‍♂️

As a #mastodon exclusive, I give you #earlyaccess to my latest #video! 😜😅 In this LAS episode, I am showcasing my new #niri + #noctalia setup and starting to reorganize my #plugin library. All unscripted, with a few glitches and "wrong camera moments" along the way. 🫣🙂 #youtube: https://youtu.be/dsx6LpHGSwY #peertube: https://spectra.video/w/ghHTy1BRFtuQPQP8TYopb6 PS: It does not yet have a poster image. I will make and add one ASAP and will continue to reorganize my plugin library in the next video (hopefully soon). 😎
