weird! last night, i had a dream about there being a new, 2026 version of the #goldengirls #tv show! who would even be on a contemporary version? are there even elder actresses with the same cultural cache that the original cast had??? and what topics would it cover? almost no social "anxiety from the 80s and 90s is valid in the 2020s? interracial marriage, #lgbt stuff is basically nothing in 2026! rehabilitating #maga maybe? i dunno but it was a cool #dream! #television #comedy #uspol #culture

I had a weird #dream that was based on Captain Planet. (No actual Captain Planet, just a similar group of environmentalist kids with wind/water/fire/earth powers). There was a 'not-YouTube' channel for this nonexistant series that had spawned 3 seasons and 1 fighting game. Visual style had some combination of 90s era American cartoon and contemporary anime-like environmental design. The synopsis of one of the episodes of Season 1 was that the US government was experimenting with settlement designs that ordinarily would've been too dangerous or risky. So there was an American village around a volcano that was analyzed and calculated to never have lava flows. There were a BUNCH of people just doing basic work like carrying boxes around to one place to the next, like they were working in transport or maintenance. But basically the group of magic kids thought it was bad that a natural preserve is no longer one. Therefore, they used their powers to throw cargo into the volcano to the annoyance of the townsfolk.

I want to live in a country that takes pride in leaving nobody behind, where the strong feel good about themselves, not because they have more than others, but because they are able to carry those less fortunate. #thoughts #dream

Had a dream that my car transformed down into the size and shape of a CD boombox when you got out of it. But it was really heavy. Too heavy to walk around and do the shopping with but not so heavy that it wouldn’t be nicked if you left it in the car park. This was a problem. I tried leaving it in the car park but someone just opened the cd flap and decided not to steal my Aztec Camera CD. Harsh. If this were to happen, we’d need to have a locker system, I concluded. #dream
