A snail who was already late
was going to be a croc's bait.
When reaching the snout
the croc had passed out.
Its patience had not really paid.

Normally they retract into their shells when you pick them up, but this snail seemed really curious about the view.

Hosta leaves always reminds me of hand quilted cotton. The way they pucker between the lines.

This cutie was facing the other way, but it gave me a good view of xer gorgeous shell, so I like to think xe was showing off rather than being rude.

⭐️New⭐️
A new drawing has been added to my shop, a little snail sitting on a mushroom. Snails may be a pest to some gardeners, but slugs and snails are key parts of the woodland ecosystem, providing food for many.

Please don't boost #aislop !
This post went #viral in my timeline. Commentators found the source in a FB slop page, and biologists in the comments tell the facts. The author of the post hasn't yet edited the post for marking that's AI/the source.
People burst into enthusiasm, so little do they know about nature.
And I'll write an article now. About real snails. Facts.
Edit: you can read it here: https://steady.page/en/naturematchcuts/posts/28951404-a41f-4215-ab89-bc35dbc41233
