È l’estrema sintesi di quanto accaduto lo scorso 22 agosto sul Grossglockner, la montagna più alta dell’Austria (3.798 metri), dove un diverbio per ragioni di precedenza ha spinto una guida alpina a strattonare un escursionista sull’orlo del precipizio. Un episodio documentato da un video amatoriale, che ha innescato un’indagine di polizia e si è concluso con l’addio definitivo alla professione da parte della guida coinvolta. Il teatro dello scontro è il Mürztalersteig, la via ferrata che conduce verso il rifugio Erzherzog-Johann-Hütte. Secondo la ricostruzione diffusa sui social dall’alpinista, di nazionalità polacca, l’incidente ha avuto inizio quando lui si è fermato per lasciare alla moglie lo spazio necessario a superare un delicato tratto attrezzato. In quel frangente è sopraggiunta dall’alto la guida austriaca che, pur avendo in carico due clienti, ha forzato la discesa cercando di infilarsi fisicamente tra i due coniugi per superarli. According to the reconstruction shared on social media by the climber, of Polish nationality, the incident began when he stopped to allow his wife to pass a delicate equipped section.
