#FotoVorschlag Mineralien und Gesteine » Minerals and Rocks Remember the hike I did a couple of months ago where it rained on me and I was cold and wet and tired and miserable? Well, near the summit, there was this very cool cairn and I courageously stopped (while getting soaked and shivering and cursing in my head) to take a quick pic of it with my phone. No, no... No applause. I did my pixelfed duty. 🤣 ⚠️ Editing to add that I did not (and never do) participate in cairn building because it's not an ecologically sound practice. In primary school (1960s), we learned that mountain areas above 3,000 m altitude in the Alps had eternal snow. I'm afraid we're seeing the end of that. Mein beliebtestes Bild auf Pixelfed im September. Viele Posten wohl das gleiche Bild auf Mastodon und Pixelfed parallel…dann hat man es aber leider auch zwei mal im Feed mit unterschiedlichen Namen (wenn man Pixelfed nutzt).
