Als kleiner Player gerät man da schnell wieder unter die Räder und am Ende sind es die großen #Konzerne, die zuerst noch den letzten Tropfen aus #Öl und #Gas pressen und dann auch dank des nötigen Kapitals die neuen #Technologie|n bestimmen.

People are getting gouged at the pumps, but another costly handout of public money to oil and gas companies is no solution. Even after the Carney government’s $2.4 billion giveaway, gas prices continue to soar. In July, they were up more than 25% compared to last year. Instead of more corporate welfare, it’s time for a windfall tax on the big oil giants that are set to make $100 billion in profits this year because of Trump’s illegal war in Iran. #mest #gas Dat het verplichte bijmengen van gas uit mest er zou komen daar kon je haast wel vergif op innemen. Voor de vorm heeft Pro een beetje tegengestribbeld, maar de zogenaamde concessie is natuurlijk helemaal geen concessie. Het belangrijkste aan deze beslissing is dat het de positie van de intensieve veehouderij volledig verankert en bevordert. Zonder hen geen "groen" gas. En als je het wil afschaffen, mag je weer 30 miljard schade vergoeding aftikken.

I went to a gas station today to fill with diesel. It was a trucker's station, and I drive a car so I got *the looks* and *the advice* when I got there. When I finally found a nozzle which fit my car and started filling up, I commiserated with the guy across from me and the station attendant. The guy was obviously drinking the kool-aid. He said his fuel charges were just a write-off and the prices didn't bother him. He also said, "they're bringing the prices down real fast, they just dropped $.40 last week!". The attendant looked at him like he was full of shit (he was). She asked him where he got his info (she was a gas stations attendant, mind you!) and he said he saw lower prices down the road down south. Yet, when we were paying the attendant, he asked if he could switch bills with me. The world is full of bad accountants. This guy was so entrenched with his identity as a Trumper that he simply couldn't admit to reality. His identity crisis made him an absolutely horrible accountant. #Iran #EpsteinWar #gas #diesel

Der Liter Super E10 kostete am Sonntag im bundesweiten Tagesdurchschnitt 2,273 Euro, wie der ADAC in München am Montag angab. […] Der Preis für Diesel stieg ebenfalls weiter an; er erreichte am Sonntag laut ADAC 2,404 Euro pro Liter. Ein Grund für die steigenden Preise ist der hohe Preis für Rohöl, er legte angesichts der weiter zunehmenden Spannungen in der Golfregion erneut deutlich zu.
