I know I’ve been to the Royal Pavilion in #Brighton once before in the past 25 years…but I can’t picture quite when. It might have been having refurbishment works at the time, because I remember coming away thinking it was ok, but we didn’t feel like we’d seen much… Today, wow! It was stunning and there was lots to see. We loved spotting the devastation caused by the dragons and the black and white cat who reminded us of our much missed moggy, Griz.

A new Blue Plaque has turned up on Trafalgar Street “carnival against fascism. The Battle of Trafalgar Street. It was here on the 13th of June 2026 that police used batons and pepper spray on the people of Brighton in an attempt to force a far-right march through the city. Over 4000 Brightonians resisted and the fascists did not March. BRIGHTON IS ANTI FASCIST” #Brighton #AntiFascist #community

The fascists, of which there were about 400, only managed a march of 50m or so. #Brighton 🌈 ✊
