There's a really un-generous interpretation of the Texas election results where Texans are willing to completely undermine the rights of women, people of color, and LGBT+ people, but they absolutely cannot tolerate diesel hitting $6 a gallon. Personally, I choose to think the election results are due to Texans who thought their votes didn't matter in such a red state coming out of the woodwork because they were fed up with fascists. :AntiNazi:#USElections #USPolitics

Today, Rep. Robert Garcia, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, released the following statement after Democrats secured a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives. Following this win, Garcia will become Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, where he has vowed to take on the Trump Crime Family, corporate corruption, DHS and ICE abuses, and the cover-up of the Epstein files. His statement can be found below. "Lawyer up." #democracy #bluetsunami #democrats #USPolitics #uspol

Crypto and AI super PACs spent $250 million on the midterms. In competitive races, their candidates got clobbered: nine losses out of 12 called so far, including Ohio, where crypto spent $64 million and still couldn’t beat Sherrod Brown. https://www.citationneeded.news/2026-election-results/ #crypto #cryptocurrency #AI #artificialIntelligence #USpol #USpolitics #midterms

Back in May Virginia Foxx made news when she replied to a letter from a 10 year old boy asking her to help bring more electric cars to the road here in #NorthCarolina she responded by blaming the boy and his teachers for “indoctrination” of him and his classmates and called him “sad”. She’s been in power here for 22 years. The GOP keeps gerrymandering her district to keep her seat safe. She’s literally stood beside Trump as he signs hateful EO and laws. I hope and pray she loses. #USPolitics

Loss for conservative, Heritage-linked pro-AI group Alliance for a Better Future as Dem Adam Hamilton wins against Roger Marshall in Kansas Senate race. It was a relatively small outlay: just $81,000 for an ad promoting AI but warning AOC/Bernie will make AI regulations “for their benefit”. #USpol #USpolitics #midterms #Kansas

Another loss for crypto and AI: Dem Josh Turek takes the Iowa Senate. Winklevosses’ DFF spent $700K to oppose Turek and support Ashley Hinson; conservative pro AI Alliance for the Better Future spent $171K on Hinson. #USpol #USpolitics #midterms #Iowa

BTW: I am not just singling out losses in this thread. I’m posting about all competitive races where crypto and AI PACs spent on the general. It’s just that they are getting wrecked across the board so far. Out of 8 that have been called, only CO-8 went their way: a fairly low-$ outlay on a Dem. #USpol #USpolitics #midterms

Another loss for AI: In the Senate race for Maine, Democrat Troy Jackson beats longtime incumbent Susan Collins. The Heritage-linked Alliance for a Better Future spent $810,000 to back her. Crypto PACs were conspicuously absent in this race, likely because of her recent vote against the Clarity Act. #USpol #USpolitics #midterms #Maine #MESen
