#humanart

Here’s my entire bevy of Inktober artwork. I’m also posting the time-lapse of all the cross-outs for the first time ever. 😄 Fun to see how they came along. I think 12: Toss and 22: Beacon are still my favs. Hope you enjoyed it. 🖖 #Inktober #Halloween #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for the final day 31: Flex Wanted to end on an upbeat, Halloween-y note so this was pretty fun. I really enjoyed Inktober again this year, especially seeing everyone’s creations. What a wonderful, much needed burst of creative inspiration for all of us. #Inktober #Halloween #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Day 31: Flex #Inktober #Halloween #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for Day 30: Cookie Mixed emotions here near the end. On the one hand I’m glad we’re almost done and I managed to make it through. On the other I’m sad it’s over because I’ve really enjoyed seeing all your creations this year especially from those of you who were new to Inktober. I’m so proud of all of you! #Inktober #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Day 30: Cookie No AI was used in the creation of this artwork. Ironic, huh? #Inktober #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for Day 29: Tusk TWO TO GO! #Inktober #StarWars #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Day 29: Tusk #Inktober #StarWars #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for Day 28: Trophy It’s actually embarrassing to watch how bad I am at drawing figures/people. The trick is not to give up and to keep at it until it starts to look right. Some artists have no problem with the human form/faces. I am not one of them. I do like how Medusa turned out here though, her expression was fun to capture. Only 3 to go! #Inktober #Mythology #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Day 28: Trophy “A titan against a titan!!” #Inktober #Mythology #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for Day 27: Dumb Make sure to turn your sound up for this one! 🐟😅💀🎶 Only 4 to go! #Inktober #Meme #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Day 27: Dumb Set fire to your hair Poke a stick at a grizzly bear Eat medicine that's out of date Use your private parts as Piranha bait! #Inktober #Meme #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for Day 29: Navigator This was so horrible at the very beginning I almost trashed it and went with a different idea. Stuck with it however and was happy how it turned out. Could say that about a lot of things in life I think. Two to go!!! #Inktober #Farscape #HumanArt #MastoArt #LineaSketch

Day 30: Violin #Inktober #HumanArt #MastoArt #LineaSketch

Day 31: Landmark #Inktober #HumanArt #MastoArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for Day 31: Landmark That’s a wrap on Inktober 2024. I hope you enjoyed following along as much as I enjoyed drawing. Inktober helped keep me sane in the run up to this stupid election so I figured it was fitting the final entry was about casting our critical ballots. Thanks to all who liked or commented on my work, it really means a lot to me. I’m actually looking forward to next year, I just hope the prompts will be more exciting. 😐 #Inktober #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Day 1: Mustache #Inktober #fediart #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for Day 1: Mustache Channeled Edward Gorey for this one, I have always admired his work. In college I wrote him to ask permission to use The Gashleycrumb Tinies in a school project. I was delighted when he wrote me back & crushed when he said no. This was in 1994, pre-internet, only for class but he still said no. I never forgot it. So I’ve always tried to give permission for my stuff when I can because of him. He died in 2000. #Inktober #fediart #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Day 2: Weave #Inktober #fediart #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Time-lapse process for Day 2: Weave 🕷️ Note I flipped the lower corner content around at one point because I wanted the dungeon to appear like it was beneath the haunted house above. 😊 #Inktober #fediart #Halloween #HumanArt #LineaSketch

Day 3: Crown 🎃 #Inktober #fediart #Halloween #HumanArt #LineaSketch
