STARSHIP IS STACKED! 🚀 The full stack towering on the pad ahead of its first orbital launch attempt is just unreal to look at. This is the moment years of testing have been building toward. Let's gooo!!

A $16.8B chip fab from SpaceX and Tesla in Grimes County?! This is huge for Starship's avionics and Starlink production pipeline — building the machines that build the machines to Mars 🚀🔧

“ A #telescope in #Chile has captured evidence of the impact caused by part of a SpaceX #Falcon9 rocket slamming into the moon while travelling at 8,690km/h (5,400mph).
The European Southern Observatory’s (ESO) Very Large Telescope observed “spectral lines” – a colourful illustration of the #sodium and #lithium gas – in the plume of #LunarDust stirred up by the impact.
The #ESO telescope recorded these “chemical fingerprints” of the plume, which were visible for five to 10 minutes, the #observatory said. The #plume measured a few tens of kilometres in size, according to #CarlSchmidt, an astronomer from #BostonUniversity’s Center for #SpacePhysics.”

“ With the data I've seen as of 2026 August 1, I'm computing an impact on 2026 August 5 at 06:35:37.5 UTC (Universal Time), probably plus or minus a few seconds.”

A pristine Ship 40 splashdown so clean the recovery fleet is racing to grab it from orbit-visible satellite imagery?! 🛰️ This is the kind of data that turns Starship into a truly reusable interplanetary workhorse. Incredible times!

🚀 Heads up, Connecticut!
From Meteorologist Kevin Arnone: A SpaceX Falcon 9 is set to launch tonight at 7:34 PM, carrying another batch of Starlink satellites on a northeast trajectory. If all goes on time, the rocket’s bright exhaust plume should be visible from our area.
⏱ Look 4–8 minutes after launch
👀 Face the southeastern sky
🌤 Clear skies = best chance
Launches can slip, so timing matters.

🚀 Friday the 13th launch! A SpaceX Falcon 9 lifts off at 5:15 AM headed for the International Space Station. By ~5:25 AM it’ll be near New England, climbing to nearly 200 km in just 10 minutes.
Look up and southeast before sunrise. Clearer pockets possible in GA, PA, DE, NY, VA, Southern New England & ME. Inland = tougher.
