do i know anybody who can make a very simple pattern for a 3d printer to produce? i need a tray for holding stacks of poker-sized cards. technically i need two trays, one for six stacks of cards and one for seven stacks. ideally with a lid? anyway it seems simple to me, but just outside my personal skillset. anybody think they can help, or know somebody who might? boosts appreciated. #3dprinting

Hi, I'm Miklós Galicz, a senior full stack engineer and solution architect from Hungary. I reach for Go whenever I can and keep the browser side to htmx and plain JavaScript. At https://blackfyre.ninja I write about rebuilding the Web Gallery of Art, how I work with AI agents, 3D printers, and Spooder, the hexapod I'm getting ready for my daughter's school career day. New instance, new #introduction.

I'm Dave, retired software developer, very early #podcaster, Podcast HOF class of 22, first year #beekeeper, aspiring country gentleman.

I live in coastal SC. I enjoy doing #hacker/#maker projects although frankly the rise of LLMs is pushing more towards the physical as it subtracts joy from software. At this moment I am #3Dprinting a Mjolnir to hang on my wall. Comic books overflowing to a storage space level of collector. SF nerd from way back.

My #3dprintingwaste box arrived so I was finally able to sort out my overflowing wastebasket. I left a bunch of the #filamentpoop just because its harder to make sure the PLA and PETG ones are separated. While paying £54 for the privilege of #recycling my own waste initially seems like a lot it covers all the logistics returning the box as well. Hopefully I won't be filling them up that fast! Zero 2 W to zvládá překvapivě dobře. 😋 #Prusa #MK4S #RaspberryPi #MediaMTX #GStreamer #3Dprinting #diy

I've had pinball leg mounted drink holders since early 2000s, although those were pretty crude DIYs back when consumer 3D printing wasn't a thing. My very first take was just a piece of steel bent into a shape on L with holes for the leg bolts and then a ring big enough for a soda bottle welded onto that. As my collection grew, somewhere in early 2010s the Pingulp was released. Not that it was an unique idea even then, but it was a good product. I own around 30 of those. At that point I had migrated from energy drinks to coffee and got used to having my coffee mug there. Over the years the product got revised, the version 2.0 no longer fit the mug perfectly and by the 3.0 it was useless to me. I had made my own variant when learning OpenSCAD back in the days, but saw no point in 3D printing something that was cheap and readily available. Until now. So here's my version resurrected and redone with #freecad. It's intended to be cheap, customizable via color painting in slicers and easy to print. After some prototypes I think I have a model that works in arcade use as well. If you need one, here's the model: https://www.printables.com/model/1841594-pinball-drink-holder-fits-cans-bottles-and-coffee #pinball #3dprinting

Opened a new brand spool of clear PETG and I'm tuning the settings to make it more clear. This one (Sunlu Clear) doesn't like to operate at its top rated temperatures but lower ones seem fine, except it can't take faster speeds. So cold and slow it is. 260 and 240 celcius examples. #3dprinting #filament

Here's a slot machine reel for WhoDunnit pinball machine I printed earlier with my Snapmaker. It has a lot of wear in the jackscrews, which shows in a print like this. I'm hoping this a lot fresher Prusa MK4S can make me better ones. #3dprinting

Thank you everyone who contributed! I added a brim and ensured there are no draft in the room, and now the part printed without any warping or peeling. <3 #3DPrinting
