Come, Lollobrigida: “An exceptional product unjustly criminalized, the Government…”
AGI - “The Government’s presence is constant, our producers recognize it, not just ours but also internationally. One of the world’s leading enologists said that France turned its back on wine, Italy didn't, and in fact invests in supporting businesses and promoting an exceptional product that is unjustly criminalized.” This was stated by Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida in an interview with AGI at La Nuvola dell’Eur during the event for the 40th anniversary of the Gambero Rosso, where the ‘Three Glasses’ awards are presented to the best Italian wines.
“Opposition representatives should be ashamed of what they have failed to do over time in terms of defending this system and resources: in the NRRPs, previous governments had invested only 3.6 billion in agriculture, we have brought it up to 8 billion and 100.” Said Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida.
“In these days we will give another signal of particular attention, with a bill presented by the Government about a year and a half ago: ‘Coltiva Italia’ makes available to the agricultural world over one billion euros, an unprecedented result in the history of the republic,” he added.
“We have worked together with major oil companies. Prime Minister Meloni believes it has been extraordinarily attentive to dialogue with Eni, which is a national company, and obviously with those nations that could help us, such as Kuwait in recent hours.”
“We are working with great attention, with great caution – explained the minister – The State has the resources to help our producers and on the other hand also to be helped by the private world to support sectors that must always remain more solid. To do this, one of the attentions is fuel, and as far as I am concerned, agricultural fuel.”

He violated the order not to approach his former girlfriend, arrested twice in 24 hours.
The Carabinieri of Messina Centro arrested a 38-year-old Messinese twice within a 24-hour period for violating the precautionary order prohibiting contact with his ex-girlfriend.
The story began on September 15th with the man’s report for abuse and the subsequent activation of protections under the “Red Code” protocol, culminating on September 22nd in the execution of his eviction from the family home with a ban on approaching the woman.
On Wednesday night, September 23rd, after failing to contact the victim, officers from the Camaro and Faro Superiore Stations went to her residence, surprising the 38-year-old. Arrested in flagrante and placed under house arrest in another house, the man was carefully monitored by patrols, who feared a repeat offense.
The Carabinieri's intuition proved accurate: In the afternoon of the same Wednesday, September 23rd, officers from the Radiomobile Unit and the Camaro Superior Station caught him again attempting to approach his ex-girlfriend. Blocked for the second time in one day, he was transferred to the Messina Gazzi prison.

What happened between Ed Sheeran and Macklemore? The star speaks of Gaza from the stage: “Sorry…”
Ed Sheeran has stated that the situation in Gaza is “unjustifiable,” following a wave of criticism for not supporting pro-Palestinian statements made by rapper Macklemore, who opened his concerts.
“What is happening in Gaza is catastrophic, unjustifiable and disproportionate,” said the British singer, opening his show in Philadelphia without Macklemore, who was excluded from the ‘Loop Tour’ after shouting “Free Palestine” during a concert in New Jersey at the beginning of the month. “I had to make difficult decisions, I am making mistakes and I sincerely apologize.” Sheeran added, visibly moved.
Silence on the conflict and words for the West Bank
Sheeran, who until now had maintained an apolitical stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, broke his silence and denounced “hearts broken by the scale of the devastation and the loss of civilian lives, of children.”
“Furthermore, the systemic injustice we are witnessing in the West Bank cannot be ignored,” he added from the stage in Philadelphia, in the first concert after the controversy involving Macklemore.
Protests from fans and a call for a boycott of the tour
Sheeran was criticized for not opposing Macklemore’s dismissal after he shouted “Free Palestine” during a previous performance, coming under fire from pro-Palestinian supporters who launched calls to boycott him.
Several dozen protesters organized a peaceful demonstration outside Lincoln Financial Field before the show, waving Palestinian flags and chanting “Free Palestine.” Some fans attending the stadium admitted to hesitating to participate due to the controversy, but ultimately decided to be there and enjoy the music; others, however, changed their plans.
“We extend our call for a boycott of Ed Sheeran’s entire world tour, including upcoming dates in Latin America and the yet-to-be announced European stop,” said the Palestinian Campaign Boycott Academic and Cultural Institutions of Israel (Pacbi).
