I imagine young people would think this song is cringe. Maybe it is. But I loved it when I was 10. Was this the first time I ever heard Stevie Wonder? Possibly. They recorded it at Air Studios, which I visited a few years later when I was on Montserrat with my grandmother who was receiving an experimental cancer treatment (but that’s another story).

"Boogie On Reggae Woman" is a 1974 #funk song by #American #Motown artist #StevieWonder, released as the second #single from his seventeenth studio album, #FulfillingnessFirstFinale, issued that same year. Despite the song's title, its style is firmly funk/#RAndB and neither #boogie nor #reggae. It continued Wonder's successful Top Ten streak on the #popCharts, reaching number three and also spent two weeks at number one on the #soulCharts.
