The European Union has excluded leather from its landmark antideforestation law despite internal data showing it accounts for up to 17% of the bloc's import deforestation footprint. Watchdogs say the decision ignores strong evidence linking European leather consumption to deforestation in Latin America. 🐾 Well, well, well. Look who came crawling back with their tail firmly between their legs. I left the Fediverse for the hype of Bluesky, only to get slapped with a Texas-induced corporate KWS surveillance wall demanding my face scan just to read a timeline on a desktop browser. Lesson learned. The grassroots web was right all along. ❤️ Time to start rebuilding my network with cool, queer-friendly kinksters. #Introduction #NewHere #BackOnFedi #Kinkster #Leather #BDSM #PuppyPlay #QueerKink
