I'm currently house sitting and I've brought a "dead" #HardDrive that I haven't been able to access in over twelve years. I've been protecting the drive all this time because it *was* the #backup device that worked when I put it away.
It would spin up then start the clicking thing. I replaced the #PCB with the exact same #firmware from an exact same model. Still spins up but makes a different sound now.
It's in the freezer. I've also got my SATA-USB dock. I figure I've got one shot to get the data off if the freezer thing works.
What are the drive shortcuts in the dock for? #harddrive #interface
