Weinstein’s sentencing for sexually assaulting one-time TV PA Miriam Haley followed a legal odyssey spanning >6 yrs. His 2020 conviction was overturned by NY’s highest court, citing testimony from other women whose allegations weren’t part of the case. A 2nd jury found Weinstein #guilty again at a retrial last year. #law

Kash Patel's #FBI investigated and prosecuted head of Florida Atlantic University's Center of Autism and Related Disabilities after she filed an unsubstantiated claim as a Jeffrey Epstein victim. Jennifer Percival, who holds a Doctorate in Philosophy, resigned from the school two days after pleading #guilty in #federalcourt to falsifying documents in an effort to receive $750,000 compensation from a fund set up for victims of Palm Beach sex predator #JeffreyEpstein. Percival, who had previously been rejected by a prior Epstein compensation fund, refiled with forged docs, lied to #FBI agents, and has now given a #restitution check of $776k upon plea, and likely faces three to four years in #prison.
