Video of my session at FediForum - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qz0x3xmiIp8 - thanks Mark for being the only one to join me (we're not the cool kids :p ) which introduces CList and offers an alternative way to look at (and build) the open social web, The usual live demo glitches, but I think we made the point. #fediforum

So many people knock AI for development purposes. They fear that there's no human in the loop. This is not the case with #FediDeck. This project has been far from a one shot AI prompt. It's been a more than 6 month iterative process and I'm still adding features and squashing bug.
I've gotten some great feedback on it from users and look forward to continuing to build it.
I use it everyday as my main platform for the Fediverse and Bluesky.
If you're at #Fediforum come check out my demo.

Super interesting conversation happening in the "Leveraging cultural momentum to attract more fediverse adoption (eg trends in solarpunk, digital detox etc)" session at #FediForum

Absolutely awesome Day 1 at #fediforum. Despite my personal audio challenges, was too engaged to post my way through it. SO MUCH AWESOME idea generation and connection building about all things social web.

Great first day of @fediforum@mastodon.social. @anildash@me.dm gave a barnburner of a keynote followed by an hour of discussion; we got demos of ATProto Spaces and @fediponics@gardenstate.social; and had many conversations to move the open social web forward.
Looking forward to day 2 tomorrow!

The ongoing discussion with @anildash@me.dm at #Fediforum is like a college course. Love it. Love it! Such a great time to learn so much.

Seeing more and more women at #FediForum each time is really heartening! Go women in tech!
And also women showing up in tech spaces to show that non techy skills are also important in building the Fediverse!

@fediforum@mastodon.social is happening once again. It is a fun online unconference on #OpenSocialWeb organized by @anca@mastodon.xyz & @j12t@j12t.social
This edition started with an interesting keynote by @anildash@me.dm which resonated a lot with the stuff I've been working on with #DoeiDag.
Now I'm In this session about ATproto Spaces by Daniel Holmgren (BlueSky)
I'll be presenting a session on @doeidag@mastodon.nl similar to the one I gave @berlinfediday@berlin.social around 19:30 CET (UTC+2)

It just so happens that FediForum will take place as the new Pixelfed mobile app rolls out.
What a happy coincidence 💅

#FediForum will take place on 6 and 7 October. I still don't feel comfortable presenting, but I might get a ticket to listen to other contributors.
I have the impression the term "Open Social Web" for what we are all working on has won.
Instead of "decentralized social" or other terms that have been floating around over the years.
We've been leaning into it for some years now with #FediForum since I realized that some members of the press had been using it, instead of something more techie.

Looking at registrations so far for the upcoming FediForum October 6-7, there are quite a few people new to the community. At least people who have not been at FediForum before. Welcome!
Did you know you really don't need to be an expert to have a good time at #FediForum? Feel free to join us!
