MERAHHH is my newest album that is released by def-n Radio. It contains my experiments of fusing ambient, drone, and harsh noise into each track without eliminating any of each essence. I put spatial concept into the headroom so every detail would not be wasted. Enjoy the album! https://defnradio.bandcamp.com/album/merahhh#noise #experimentalmusic #darkambient #harshnoise #dronenoise #ambient #experimental #album #bandcamp #defnradio #karnivulgar

Hey #believeinfilm friends, I published a short photo essay where I talk about the experimental nature of film photography, why I like to push the boundaries in that medium, and what doing so has led to: "The Risks and Rewards of Experimental Photography" https://www.analog.cafe/r/the-risks-and-rewards-of-experimental-photography-7vi3 #filmphotography #analogphotography #essay #experimental #photography

The Risks and Rewards of Experimental Photography

A short photo essay on the experimental nature of film photography with examples from my latest near-failure with Fujifilm Provia 100F, (improperly) developed via the C-41 reversal process.

🇬🇧 Peter Gabriel "Live at WOMAD 1982" – 2025 A fascinating document from the very first WOMAD festival. The performance reflects his growing interest in world music and cross-cultural collaboration. And then it's mostly a show off of his fourth album which is my favourite... 👍 #petergabriel #womad #worldmusic #livemusic #progressiverock #artrock #experimental #vinyl #music #vinylrecords #nowspinningonvinyl #nowspinning #nowlistening

Ça c'est bon ! Enfin, moi j'adore...

JAPAN Tin Drum 1981 Canada pressing While I was at my local shop this morning, a gentleman came in to sell about 30 of his records. I ended up buying ALMOST all of them. Along with the No New York compilation I posted earlier, it was all made up of #obscure #nowave , #punk , #postpunk , #newwave , #synthpop , and #experimental #artrock from the late #70s and early #80s . This was one that I was very excited about. I’ve never owned a CLEAN original Tin Drum on vinyl before, and I’m SIKED. I’m a big fan of Japan (and of David Sylvian) in general, and Tim Drum was the first album by Japan I ever heard. I was so mystified by it, that I instantly set off on finding others, which lead me to working backwards towards Adolescent Sex, Obscure Alternatives, Quiet Life and Gentlemen Take Polaroids. “Ghosts” is an incredible tune. It still gives me goosebumps. #vinyl #vinylrecords #vinylcommunity #records #vintage #retro #physicalmedia #analog #cratedigging #vinylcollection #art #music

heartbts beat driven electronic music with roland jx crisp and punchy sounds, textured pads, reaktor broken beats, deep bass, rhodes keys https://nexttime.bandcamp.com/album/heartbts on the rare occasions i produce electronic music, it feels like taking time off complex, multi-layered processes involved in making electroacoustic compositions short improvisations on synth and pads then reaktor beats - tempo set on 135 on all deep pulses, electro stabs and abstract cut up beats #electronic #experimental #beats

Temp-Illusion's video for "Sketchy" captures senseless cacophony - CDM Create Digital Music

The news can be numbing in all its violence and mindlessness, compounded by a chorus of shills across media and social media. Temp-Illusion, the duo formed in Tehran by Shahin Entezami and Behrang Najafi, cuts through those feelings like a knife. Then stick around for the deeply meditative Bayal بیل (Shanin + Adel Poursamadi).

CHEER-ACCIDENT Sever Roots Tree Dies 1988 U.S. pressing A super-cool find at the end of a loooong-ass day. I had no idea what this was. Just bought it on a whim after about 2 seconds of research. What a wonderfully weird #80s album. I’ll try my best to explain this… An #experimental trio that mixes #prog rock, #postpunk , #avantgarde improvisation, occasional #artpop , and CRAZY ass dynamics that duck and weave in and out of soft/quiet & roundhouses to the head. Think latter-day King Crimson having a baby with the punkest, weirdest girl from your graduating class. This is an exciting record, and I can tell I’m going to have to listen to it several times to have it reveal itself to me in full. Just a killer record, and a very pleasant surprise. Now I have something to obsess over these next few weeks. #vinyl #vinylrecords #vinylcommunity #records #vintage #retro #physicalmedia #analog #cratedigging #vinylcollection #vinylfinds #rare #art #punk #artrock #1980s #80sMusic
