Day 1: they take over an empty Palestinian home.
Day 2: about 20 of them go into a family’s home and trash it...
Day 3: a fence, goats, olive saplings. A settler family moves in.
Day 4: the homes’ water and electricity are diverted. Soldiers arrive and say they’re helping build the gate.
That afternoon, the army’s liaison officer agreed the homes belong to the Palestinian families. Then he said he’d spoken to the settler, and they could go in.
The owners say their sofas, beds, TV and air conditioner are gone.
One week on, the settlers are still there.
This is how an outpost grows. One house, one fence, one gate at a time…
