Sometimes things happen on the spot. Inspiration comes from the moment. These times every cell in your body just wants you to grab the pencil and just do what you know must be done. I just lived a moment like that. Real time. 😃 It's part of the journey of learning art. It's a small study because it's from real life. And you depict not only what you see, but you feel. I think the result was good. (Tbh I have been flirting with gestures and figure drawing for a few days now so what happened was divine :P) #MastoArt #artjourney #sketch #dog #figuredrawing #gesture #pencil #TraditionalArt

Day 286 #365project + #TongueOutTuesday Here is #BrodyOfWales catching his breath this afternoon. It was ever so slightly warm in the sunshine today. Brody likes autumn weather, thus Brody was not impressed. #bigdog #dog #Hund #dogs #Hunde #xlbully #mastiff #canecorso #gooddog #gentlegiant #dogsofmastodon #dogsofpixelfed #doglovers #sunnyday #boop #boopthesnoot #petphotography #petportrait #photography #Fotografie #amateurphotography

And while I am on animals and color today, I learned that yellow appears to be dogs' favorite color. That's because it sits furthest away from black in their black-blue-yellow color spectrum. Think about that next time you are tempted to buy a red ball for your dog: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/canine-corner/202504/which-colors-do-dogs-prefer #pets #dogsofmastodon #dog

What's Your Dog's Favorite Color?

There's a strong argument against red dog toys.
