At least 6 major #hospitals have agreed to refuse #GenderAffirming hormones & surgery for #transgender young people & agreed to make payments [?] to the #FederalGovernment, acc/to deals with the #DOJ. The most recent agreements came last week. Most of the hospitals had already stopped offering the treatments because of state bans or previous pressure from #Trump’s admin. #law #medicine #healthcare #BodilyAutonomy #privacy #government #LGBTQ #FarRight #Trump

Veganism is about the exploitation of animals. Abortion is about a completely different question, autonomy over my own body. Two separate ethical frameworks. I first heard of the anti-choice "March for Life" a number of years ago and it made me so angry, cartoon steam shot out my ears. I enjoy comics, and had been reading a simple new one about aliens learning about and commenting on human quirks and culture. I happened to look up the author and discovered that the "cause" of restricting other people's reproductive healthcare was "close to [his] heart". So I channeled my rage into this parody comic, which I just unearthed recently going through some old papers. #AbortionIsHealthcare #BodilyAutonomy #ReproductiveRights #comics
