Amazon Resilience Pineapple automatically detects failure patterns across your distributed workloads and applies targeted, spiky pressure to underperforming dependencies until they either recover or are removed from the load balancer — a process AWS documentation refers to as "natural toughening." Each Pineapple unit supports up to 10,000 resilience checks per second, with cross-region replication available in us-east-1 and us-east-1 (the second one is different), and the fibrous core retention layer is managed by AWS, meaning you own the data, the encryption keys, the IAM policies, the retry logic, and the underlying conceptual architecture of what resilience means to your organization. Resilience Pineapple is free for the first 500 toughening events per month, after which you are billed per enzyme at $0.000023 per invocation plus a $94 monthly Pineapple Core Retention Fee that applies even when the service is idle, which it will not be.
