1. Opened accounts at a local bank, and the vibe in their lobby has the same small-town vibe and friendliness that I've been missing.

2. Love the autumn colors on our maple tree.

3. Thankful that the arthritic flare in my lower back has retreated again.

Bonus: our male cat does not particularly care for walking over the crunchy leaves on the deck. But he does like the crinkly sound of paper that we put into the bottom of a box.
