Hello everyone, welcome to the #FediBookFair, please help yourself to a spot of cake and I’ve just boiled the kettle if you’d like some tea :) My name is Emmalena L. Ellis, and I’m a published author based in Suffolk in the UK. If you enjoy slice of life stories, with sprinklings of romance and comedy may I ask you take a look at my first book ‘Ginsterpigs’ which is available to buy in hardback, ebook and fully narrated audiobook editions. Over the course of my next few posts at the fair, I’d be delighted to tell you a bit of the story, what I’m working on next and a few tips and ideas to help opener writers looking to break through their writers block, or look for a publisher or explore audiobook options. Let’s have a great fair and I look forward to hearing from you soon. #ginsterpigs #sliceoflife #romanticcomedy #introduction

Owly is an owlbear harpy the size of an owl. Though she's less than 3' tall, she's strong as a bear, impulsive, and clumsy. Deemed a public hazard, she was entered into AD-HOC's residency program. She likes to gossip, and doesn't always tell the truth! I based her design on a Great Horned Owl. #mastoart #manga #webcomic #sliceoflife #digitalart #art #artistsonmastodon #originalcharacter #illustration #comic #scifi #fantasy #monstergirl #harpy #owlbear

Another attempt at slice of life thoughts. Feedback, constructive and/or positive greatly appreciated. Last post for Blaugust; it was great to have a reason to make time to think, write, and post. Thanks organizers! As I sat on the dark beach listening to the sounds of the crashing waves and the very faint roar of thunder from the distant flashes of lightning, I wondered if will I think of this serene moment again? How many times will I remember this memory? Or will All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain continues at: https://shom.dev/posts/20260829_like-tears-in-the-rain/ #Blaugust #SliceOfLife
