#elokapina #omavaraisuus #selfsufficiency #ilmastonmuutos

The salad seedlings are doing well! Good germination rate! 100% homegrown mixed salad seeds collected & sorted by myself, in small spaces of time. Grown in an old wooden draw, filled with a mix of ordinary garden soil & peat free compost. Israel is a major supplier of commercial seeds. Another reason to buy less of those! #foodgrowing #kitchengarden #gardening #food #homegrown #selfsufficiency #boycottisrael

Over 30 years ago we were one of the first in our area to obtain a small PV panel. It cost a months wages and produced 45W. Now, for a similar amount of inflation adjusted money, we have just installed 4KW of panels and 10Kw/h of battery storage and have been independent of the mains since installation in early April. Yesterday we passed 1MWh of electricity production! #solar #solarpower #solarenergy #pv #photovoltaic #selfsufficiency
