Big Oil’s extraordinary Q3 earnings exposed the injustice at the heart of fossilflation... We all pay more when global energy markets are disrupted, while oil and gas corporations collect BILLIONS. US$150 BILLION TO BE EXACT 😮‍💨 👀🔗 https://act.gp/48188c2 #MakePollutersPay #Fossilflation #Iran #ClimateCrisis #nepal #Shell

Why oil and gas corporations are making so much money – and we’re all paying the bill - Greenpeace International

The world’s biggest oil and gas corporations have just reported another quarter of staggering profits. Meanwhile, paying for the things you need every day has become alarmingly expensive.

The past 11 years have been the hottest on record. Extreme weather and wildfires are increasingly threatening human health, particularly among vulnerable populations and in regions with limited capacity to respond to climate-related impacts. Fossil fuel companies must pay for the harm they've caused. https://www.euronews.com/2026/10/28/climate-change-should-be-declared-health-emergency-as-health-risks-can-no-longer-be-ignore#extremeweather #climate #fires #health #makepolluterspay

Experts call on UN to declare climate change a health emergency

Climate change should be declared a global health emergency as its impacts intensify faster than action to address them, authors of a major new report warn.

Friendly reminder: when you were struggling to pay your bills, Shell was making MASSIVE profits off the cost of living crisis. We're talking 99% increase on Shell's profits, when comparing Q3 2026 to Q3 2025 🤯 Their business model literally runs on disaster and that’s a deliberate choice: their profits are our loss. But it doesn’t have to be like this ☝️ 👉 Join the global petition! Click the link and sign it now: https://act.gp/3RLI2EV #MakePollutersPay #Shell #fossilflation

How many villages have to disappear for climate polluters to be held accountable? The warning signs are severe, it is time to hold polluters accountable! #MakePollutersPay

As glaciers melt and permafrost thaws, Longyearbyen, on the remote Arctic islands of Svalbard, faces climate-induced problems from tap water to housebuilding to landslides

One of the reasons mosquitoes have not thrived in Iceland until now is the cold climate. However, the Arctic region is warming faster than other areas on Earth. 👀 🔗 https://bit.ly/4jBnKdp #GlobalHeating #ClimateCrisis #MakePollutersPay

The last mosquito-free bastion has fallen

World Mosquito Day 20 August. Mosquitoes were found for the first time in Iceland last year (2025)- but no new discoveries have been made this year (2026).  Nevertheless, Iceland is no longer considered the only mosquito-free country on Earth, along with Antarctica. Experts believe the cause is the warming climate due to climate change.

Make oil, coal and gas corporations pay their fair share for the damage they cause. Introduce new taxes or fines on them to help communities at home and around the world rebuild from climate disasters and invest in climate solutions. Add your name: https://act.gp/3RLI2EV #MakePollutersPay

At least €16 BILLION: the estimated cost of France’s 2026 heatwaves and wildfires, according to a parliamentary report. People are hurting. They need real funding to stay safe: cooler homes and schools, early-warning systems, firefighters and healthcare workers. TAX obscene oil and gas profits. 1 in 3 of us are now exposed to EXTREMELY HIGH levels of harmful air pollution, fuelled by record heatwaves and wildfires combined with climate-wrecking emissions. Clean air shouldn’t be a luxury, it’s a basic human right. https://www.rfi.fr/en/international-news/20260930-one-third-of-world-population-exposed-to-harmful-air-pollution-monitor #publichealth #airpollution #climatecrisis #heatwave #wildfires #makepolluterspay

From floods across South and South-East Asia to toxic fire haze and typhoons battering East Asia, climate disasters are hitting millions. Fossil fuels are supercharging the chaos: homes destroyed, harvests lost, communities cut off and blackouts leaving families without power. Meanwhile, polluters cash in. Make polluters PAY. Time to END the age of fossil fuels. #makepolluterspay #asia #eastasia #thailand #japan #india #philippines #fossilfuels #climatechange #climatecrisis #floods #smoke

Over 60 years ago fossil fuel corporations took out this 2-page advert bragging about HOW FAST they can MELT GLACIERS. This is the 2-page ad from 1962 ExxonMobil* boasting about how they supplied enough energy to melt 7 million tons of glacier each day. *then Humble Oil and Refining, the company is now known as ExxonMobil #ExxonKnew #MakePollutersPay #ClimateCrisis #ExtremeWeather

#Ferodo went bankrupt paying out #asbestos claims to employees. Apparently, cleaning up their mess was NOT part of that pay out... So, they've been waiting for another business to clean-up and redevelop the site... But the only ones interested seems to be datacentres! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferodo https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/notorious-former-welsh-factory-thats-33148357 #FerodoSite #Wales #MakePollutersPay

Alpine glaciers are no longer just melting. They’re actively decaying. This is a direct result of accelerating climate change from burning fossil fuels. The fossil fuel industry makes massive profits at the expense of nature and our future ⚠️ Austria’s glaciers may disappear within a generation unless urgent climate action is taken >> https://act.gp/3RLI2EV It's time to #MakePollutersPay#ClimateCrisis #Heat #Glaciers
