My bridge troll crew didn't set a schedule for November because we weren't sure if we'd be partying or taking to the streets in a much less cheerful way (although I think we still would have brought the music, knowing us).

My first computer was Tandy. 8088 chip, I think. Orange monochrome monitor. No hard drive, 2x 5.25 floppers.
That sounds just like my first PC! I bought it secondhand in 1983 or 84. It was fancy because most monitors were green, and the two floppies meant you didn’t have to remove the program disk to save a file. I remember laboriously typing out the code for Eliza, the first chatbot. I had a daisy wheel printer too - the paper was fan-fold and had sprocket holes down the sides.

@blogdiva@mastodon.social I love seeing it since I know they’ve all been told they can’t be successful with that kind of name. Huge kudos to Stacey Abrams for creating the path.

You offended me OK.... Continually rubbing salt in my wounds just isn't what I would expect from someone that looks for decency.
Leave me alone.

@stux@mstdn.social I wonder how many Europeans are actually aware that the EU is actually that "party" and even got the US Biden admin to sign up for anti-tax avoidance.
Fun fact: UK Brexit was finalized only about a week before the EU's new tax enforcement went into effect. Of course, is was "really about immigration".
